St Peter’s Kirk, Sandwick, Orkney
This simple lime-washed kirk sits in a rugged and exposed position overlooking the Bay of Skaill on the west coast of mainland Orkney. St Peter’s is a non-CCT church offered by the Scottish Redundant Churches Trust. Its calm and restrained interior is dominated by a triple-decker pulpit and two double-height arched windows which flood the kirk with light.
