St Peter’s Kirk, Sandwick, Orkney
This simple lime washed kirk sits in a rugged and exposed position overlooking the Bay of Skaill on the west coast of mainland Orkney. St Peter’s is a non-CCT church offered by the Scottish Redundant Churches Trust and its plain and simple interior is dominated by tiered wooden pew seating and a triple-decker pulpit. The views outside are stunning across the bay to the Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site of Skara Brae and Champing™ in St Peter’s will be a uniquely memorable experience.
